Who We Are
Prior to retirement, Paddy was a Psychologist and Professor at Carey Theological College on the UBC campus. He has also been a Pastor for many years (see CapChurch). Carole is retired as well and worked as a Registered Clinical Counsellor. David is a spiritual director and chaplain with seniors at Lions Gate Hospital.

“Make Thoughtful Change” is what The Ducklows are about. We listen deeply and thoroughly. We are in the practice of helping people and organizations make their way from where they are to where they want to be.

Unloose People’s Thinking
Most people’s lives get stuck because their thinking gets stuck. We help people get unstuck by introducing them to ways of living that are faithful, psychologically thoughtful and practically resourceful.
Challenge People’s Change-ability
We enable people to live up to their preferred futures and not down to the limits of their own expectations or those of others. Practical, manageable, measurable, reasonable — these are the descriptors of making thoughtful change.
Who We Do It For
We work with most anyone who wants to reach to a hoped-for future. Our clients include folk from all sorts of culture and religious backgrounds, professional service firms, schools and universities, health care providers, and government service agencies. We will not exclude on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, culture, age, faith or whatever. At the same time, we cannot do everything — but sometimes we try!
